Cliff Fannin Baker

Cliff Fannin Baker celebrates a career spanning 40 years in the professional theatre. He was the Founder and Producing Artistic Director of Arkansas Repertory Theatre for 23 seasons. His directing credits cover every genre, including over 30 world premiers, multiple national tours, and projects at regional theatres across the U.S. as well as internationally. From Beijing to Houston, from Portland, Oregon to Dunedin, New Zealand, Baker continues taking on new projects that excite him. This year new he will be directing the Pulitzer Prize-winning Clybourne Park for the theatre he founded 38 years ago. Mr. Baker has received numerous awards, including the Golden Circle Award for Regional Achievement, and in 1999, the Governor's Lifetime Achievement Award. He is a member of SDC and the Dramatist Guild.
