David Rockwell

David Rockwell designed Broadway sets for Kinky Boots (Tony Award nomination), Lucky Guy (Tony Award nomination), Catch Me If You Can The Musical, Hairspray (Tony, Drama Desk, and Outer Critics Circle Award nominations), Legally Blonde The Musical (Drama Desk Award nomination), Harvey, The Normal Heart, A Free Man of Color, The Rocky Horror Show (Drama Desk Award nomination), All Shook Up (Drama Desk Award nomination), and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. His Off Broadway and film projects include CQ/CX, Let Me Down Easy, Omnium Gatherum, and Team America. Other work includes sets for the 81st and 82nd annual Academy Awards (2010 Emmy Award, 2009 Emmy Award nomination), and work with the Dolby Theatre, W Paris-Opéra, Imagination Playground, Lincoln Center’s Elinor Bunin Munroe Film Center, and Hudson Yards’ future Culture Shed. He is the founder and president of Rockwell Group, a New York-based architecture and design firm with satellite offices in Madrid and Shanghai.
