Chris Carcione

Chris Carcione recently assistant directed A Little Night Music at the Huntington and previously worked as assistant to the artistic director, during which time he assisted on Peter DuBois’ Huntington productions of The Miracle at Naples, Becky Shaw, Prelude to a Kiss, Vengance Is the Lord’s, and Sons of the Prophet. He has worked Off Broadway as assistant director for Sons of the Prophet (Roundabout Theatre Company). His regional directing credits include Kate Snodgrass’ Wasteland (Huntington Theatre Company and Boston Theater Marathon), The Best Christmas Pageant Ever and teaching artist (Stoneham Theatre), and Kiss Me or Cut off My Head (Most Wanted Fine Art and Chatham University). Mr. Carcione is the co-founder of The Junkyard, a devised theatre ensemble for which he created Shadows, an immersive theatrical event; Confidentially Yours, J. Edgar (solo performance); and In Repayment, which is currently in development. He received his BS from Boston University and MFA from Sarah Lawrence College.
