F. Wade Russo

F. Wade Russo served as musical director for the Huntington’s production of Company. His other musical directing credits include the Broadway production By Jeeves and the national tour of The Boyfriend directed by Julie Andrews. He has been the musical director for over 15 shows at Goodspeed Opera House including Half a Sixpence; Singing in the Rain; Call Me Madam; No, No Nanette; and The Apple Tree. His additional regional credits include The Mikado, Falsettos, The Pirates of Penzance, Cabaret, and The Man of La Mancha (Pittsburgh Public Theatre); Adrift in Macao (The Lyric Stage Company of Boston); Urinetown (Repertory Theatre of St. Louis); Mame with Sandy Duncan (Barrington Stage Company); The Life, 42nd Steet, and Showboat (The Boston Conservatory); Happy End (The Juilliard School), and six seasons with Williamstown Theatre Festival Cabaret. He composed incidental music for The Glass Menagerie with Joanne Woodward (Long Wharf Theatre) and was vocal coach for Valley Song (dir. Athol Fugard, Manhattan Theatre Club). Mr. Russo has served on the faculties of Circle in the Square Theatre School, The Boston Conservatory, and The Juilliard School.
