Lauren Helpern

Lauren Helpern designed Can You Forgive Her? at the Huntington, as well as designing scenery for Voices in the Dark on Broadway. Her other New York credits include 4000 Miles (Lucille Lortel Award) and Disgraced (Lincoln Center Theater), Bad Jews (Roundabout Theatre Company), Pocatello (Playwrights Horizons), Bethany (Women’s Project Theater), David Mamet’s Ghost Stories (Atlantic Theater Company), BUG (Obie Award, Barrow Street Theatre), as well as shows at Manhattan Theatre Club, Primary Stages, Rattlestick Playwrights Theater, Cherry Lane Theatre, and TheatreworksUSA. Her regional work includes Blue Man Group – Live at Luxor (Eddy Award, Las Vegas; also shows in Boston and Chicago), Merrimack Repertory Theatre, Guthrie Theater, Cleveland Play House, The Old Globe, Portland Center Stage, Syracuse Stage, Pittsburgh Public Theater, Bucks County Playhouse, Cardinal Stage, and Anchorage Opera. She designed the web series “Janice Gunter: Ghost Hunter.” Ms. Helpern teaches at Pace University.
