Rob Bissinger

Rob Bissinger designed on Broadway for the Funny Girl benefit concert for The Actor’s Fund. His Off Broadway designs include Jacques Brel is Alive and Well and Living in Paris, Big Time, Dr. Sex, Rhapsody in Seth, Melancholy Baby, Strictly Personal, and Gabrielle Lansner’s Holocaust Stories. His regional credits include Half A Sixpence and Pirates! (Goodspeed Musicals), Meet Me in St. Louis (Paper Mill Playhouse), Hunter/Gatherers (Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theater), Everything’s Ducky (Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, Garland Award), and many others including Theater Works in Hartford, Adirondack Theatre Festival, Capital Repertory Theater, The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis, and Long Wharf Theatre. Mr. Bissinger has also designed for the national tours of 42nd Street, The Who’s Tommy, Blast, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (Big League Productions), Scooby Doo in Stagefright (Clear Channel Family Entertainment), and 3 Mo’ Tenors. His assistant art direction credits include The Venetian Phantom Theatre in Las Vegas and the 81st Academy Awards. Mr. Bissinger has been a Broadway associate for David Gallo, Douglas Schmidt, and David Rockwell, and is the associate set designer for George Tsypin on the musical Spiderman.
