Gender Bender is a farce that takes a look at relationships – those between parents and son, man and woman, friends, churchgoers and their God, and each person’s struggle with his or her inner feelings. Although this subject matter sounds quite heady, it is tackled with the best tool to get people to think: comedy. Gender Bender got rave reviews in Portsmouth during its 2002 premiere.
