Cassie finds herself in a mental institution after a failed suicide attempt. Her therapist encourages her to write a series of letters to her dead father -- an act he feels will help her come to terms with her repressed feelings. Eventually, these letters turn into conversations with her father, who comes to life, if only in her memories. Scarlett Savage's award-winning, original play has received critical acclaim and caught the attention of Stephen King, who referred to her as a promising young playwright.
