Katie Allen
After growing up in Maine and wanting to break out into the world, Katie Allen moved to Boston with the simple goal of keeping herself happy. She felt that with such open direction and simplicity, life would guide her the right way. With a strong background in music, and light dabblings but massive interest in theater, life guided her into the world of retail and sales. She did not question this for life is very strange and she knew things happened for reasons. She kept her eyes and mind open for opportunities to expand her knowledge, to learn, to experience new and exciting things. A co-worker informed her of the auditions for ATKM, and without a second thought Katie auditioned. Acceptance into this family and all work involved has been a complete blessing, a life changing moment. Her goal of happiness is being fulfilled and she takes advantage of it each day.
Julee Antonellis
Julee Antonellis has been in love with acting since she saw her first play and wondered if she could be up on stage making everyone laugh by falling down and making faces… Well, that's what she has been doing ever since. Julee participated in every play through grade school she could get her hands on, competed in her high school's Acting Team and received State and National awards for "Humorous Interpretation" and "Play Reading." She went on to Salem State College where she took roles in over 15 productions, 4 of which got her nominated for Regional Finalist in the "Irene Ryan Acting Scholarship," and led her to be a "National ACTF Region 1 Finalist" at the Kennedy Center for Performing Arts. Julee has kept her performance chops up with voice, movement, stage combat, modern dance and improvisation. Upon finishing college she delved deeper into hip-hop and ballroom dancing; she became an instructor and a Pro-Am dance competitor with Arthur Murray Dance Company. In 2004 Julee took on her biggest challenge yet, she wrote, performed, and produced a one woman show, [n]everclear. This show was featured at the Boston Center for the Arts, Natick Center for the Arts, and her old stomping ground, Salem State College. All The Kings Men fills most of her time and energy these days and she loves it. Acting playing and creating...
Leighsa Burgin
Formally trained in the performing and fine arts as well as an accomplished producer, director, and choreographer, Leighsa has worked extensively in live, physical performance with a number of theatre companies. She is proud to be founder of the award winning theatrical company, All The Kings Men, who she still performs with to this day. Her impressive body of work extends across a wide range of genres in every medium from theatre, to television, to film. Her previous stage credits include the starring role of Mona in Come back to the Five and Dime, Jimmy Dean, Jimmy Dean, Catherine in Arthur Miller's A View from a Bridge and May in Samuel Beckett's Footfalls. On television, Leighsa has appeared in the critically acclaimed The West Wing among other long running shows. Her favorite work is tough, challenging, and boundary stretching.
Jill Gibson
Jill Gibson has been performing theatre onstage for the past 8 years and offstage since, essentially, she could walk. Jill was drawn to the work of ATKM after seeing them perform in 2002, and it is a personal and professional privilege to now work so closely with these women everyday. Her background includes 12 years of dance, experience in start-to-finish set build, musical theatre and choreography. Her main influence remains her ridiculous vaudevillian grandmother, who supported Jill's early desire to be onstage, to create, to laugh and to explore with her audience.
Hannah Grey
Hannah has no formal training when it comes to this theatre stuff or writing bios. She does this for everyone that has been mistaken for a boy in the girl's bathroom. She attended a small art school for sign painting. Hannah loves riding her bike, skateboarding, her fellow kingsmen, listening to music of all kinds, thrift stores, making people laugh and not eating meat. A big thanks to anyone who has ever attended one of ATKM's performances, be it once or a repeated offense. Without you, she would be forced to dress up as a superhero or dental dam and just take it to the streets.
Maria Kogan
Maria got herstart over 25 years ago in her living room. Just a stupid baby rocking out to "Panama" and "Billy Jean," putting on choreographed shows for her family. It was not an unusual scene, but that little kid never left her body. In college Maria had her first taste of drag performance, doing shows in bars around Hartford, CT. It was both thrilling and terrifying to be on a real stage; the faces of her parents now replaced with a crowd full of strangers. When Maria moved to Boston, she met some extraordinary people. They seemed to share her passion to perform and entertain. Together they founded an amazing outlet for their creativity: All The Kings Men. The past 5+ years have been incredible, and the troupe's success and recognition grows with every show. Maria never had been officially schooled in theater; her teachers have been her troupe members and her training is in live performance. She never stops learning, and is driven by a life long eagerness to release that little kid inside of her.
Karin Webb
Karin Webb has been acting since birth and directing since she had siblings. A professional storyteller since the age of 11, and workshop teacher for almost as long, she received a BFA in Acting from Boston University, and a Certificate in Physical and Ensemble Based Theatre from Dell'Arte International School of Physical Theatre. Karin acted in the 2004 "Norton award" winning production of Collected stories with Gloucester Theatre and is a "BRA Certified" artist. She is an original member of All The Kings Men, and loves the opportunity for actor/creator work it provides. She spent a year touring the country with Das Puppenspiel Puppet Theatre, and performed original work in the Capitol Fringe Festival in DC. She has worked across many genres of theatre over the past 15+ years including clown, mask performance, stage combat, dance, choreography, street performance, and playwriting. Behind the scenes she has worked from concept to strike to produce three Art WhOReSHIP Festivals, employing over 100 artists. For a number of years Karin Co-Artistic Directed and was a resident at Pan9. She has Stage Managed and worked as Theatre Technician and Board Operator numerous times for The Theater Offensive and other companies around Boston and New York City. Karin is drawn to character work and the story each character tells.
Jen Winslow
One of the founding members of ATKM, Jen has played a wide range of characters, from gallant Prince Charming to mad scientist to girl pop-star. When she hangs up her suit (or princely tights), among other things, Jen holds a modest, but science-y 9 to 5 job. She is working toward creating a clothing company called Double Barrel Apparel with fellow king Hannah Grey. Jen also devotes her time to the study of Boabom, a system of relaxation, defense and meditation through movement.
