When Fernando proposes to his boyfriend Aubrey, he pops more than the question; the specter of legal marriage bursts the whole bubble of their ten-year relationship. The big bang reverberates throughout their close-knit circle of family, friends and lovers, colliding through time and space, with the fate of their union hanging -- impossibly -- on astrophysics.
David Valdes Greenwood’s plays have been included in the Humana Festival, the Portland Stage Little Festival of the Unexpected, Ensemble Studio Theatre’s First Light Festival, New York International Fringe Festival, and City Theatre’s Summer Shorts, along with other productions across the US and in the UK. Brave Navigator and the anthologized
Day Eight: Snow Globe. His work has received awards and recognition from the Edward Albee PlayLab, Midwest Theatre Network National New Play Competition, Heideman Prize, and Clauder Competitions. A lecturer in English at Tufts University, he also writes for the
