Mobius and Boston Center for the Arts are proud to announce the second annual production of the Boston Butoh Festival at the Boston Center for the Arts’ Plaza Theater. Headlined by Yumiko Yoshioka (Berlin, DE), Mari Osanai (Aomori, JP) and Rosemary Candelario (USA), the festival features 4 incredible evenings of live performance, movement workshops and a symposium by nationally and internationally acclaimed Butoh artists. This is a rare opportunity for Boston audiences to dive deeply into this enigmatic avant-garde dance form.
