With music by Galt MacDermot (Hair) and based on William Saroyan's novel of the same name, The Human Comedy is a pop folk opera and coming-of-age tale about small-town life in World War II era California.   This production of The Human Comedy is sponsored in partthrough the Stewart F. Lane and Bonnie Comley Musical Theatre Fund and is dedicated to the memory of Boston University’s former firstlady and treasured friend of the College of Fine Arts, Jasmine Chobanian.
