A Neufaust

BCA Plaza Theatre, 539 Tremont Street

Dark bargains, forbidden desires, and two souls at stake: “A Neufaust” is a modern adaptation of Goethe’s classic story of Faust’s deal with the devil.

At a small liberal arts college in Connecticut, Dr. Faust, a recent hire disillusioned by the limits of academic knowledge, becomes obsessed with the natural intuitiveness of a young student. Desperate for deeper insight, he strikes a dangerous pact with a mischievous, other-worldly figure. But as the lines between mentor, muse, and manipulator blur, the cost of their ambitions threatens to consume them all. Do you accept the devil’s offer? Don’t miss your chance to find out.
