Paris, 1942: With Nazi forces tightening their grip, Jewish jeweler Joseph Haffmann turns to his trusted employee Pierre for help. Pierre agrees to hide him in the shop – for an unusual price. In what follows, Joseph struggles to save his culture, his humanity, and ultimately his life. Adieu Monsieur Haffmann blends suspense, intimacy, and dark humor in a story about the choices people make under extraordinary pressure.
