Summer Waltz
Wimberly Theatre, 527 Tremont Street
Summer Waltz, presented by City Ballet of Boston, is a celebration of dance that showcases a refreshing blend of classical and contemporary pieces, featuring world-renowned creative direction, Boston’s leading dancers, and up-and-coming talents from our youth company. The performance includes George Balanchine’s Minkus Pas de Trois, excerpts from Ben’s Trumpet, a jazzy ballet based on the Caldecott Honor Award book written by Rachel Isadora, and, in our two family-focused matinees, Peter and the Wolf. Accompanied by a quartet from the Cambridge Symphony Orchestra, this vibrant, warm, and diverse production offers something for everyone.
