Will Flanary, better known to millions as “Dr. Glaucomflecken” and his wife and co-survivor, Kristin Flanary (aka Lady Glaucomflecken), turn their experiences with cancer, sudden cardiac arrest, and a life-saving CPR rescue into a comedy performance that brings humanity to healthcare.
By 35, Will Flanary had survived two cancer diagnoses and a sudden cardiac arrest, saved by his wife Kristin, who performed ten minutes of CPR after finding him unresponsive in 2020. Kristin became an advocate for survivors and co-survivors, while Will channeled his journey into comedy as “Dr. Glaucomflecken,” whose sharp satire of the U.S. healthcare system now reaches over 4 million people. Today the couple tours as keynote speakers, co-hosts the podcast “Knock Knock, Hi!”, and share their story that’s part tragedy, part comedy, and all heart.
Glaucomflecken-inspired costumes are highly encouraged!
