A girl too afraid to step outside her room, who knows the world through a camera lens. A boy just learning that his parents are splitting up. Two kids carrying more than they can say out loud, who find each other anyway. Through the telling of Noah’s Ark, they devise a world of their own, a blanket fort becomes the ark, a spray bottle the rain, and through camera, toys and found objects grow into a vast, living world, built before your eyes. This is how kids weather a storm, reaching into what matters most, and carrying it safely through the flood.
Adam Theater presents The Flood, an original world premiere at the Calderwood, for every kid who has ever needed an ark. Written and Directed by Adam Theater Artistic Director Ran Bechor.
